Why Build a Showroom?
Showrooms serve multiple purposes! We created ours so that our customers could have a physical destination to view products on display. Instead of just viewing the products online through a screen, customers can touch and feel them, which adds a more immersive experience. Our showroom also offers a more personalized experience with one-on-one interaction with professionals who can answer all your questions in person. Customers can also take product samples and see how they would look in their own space before purchasing the full product. By visiting a showroom, customers can meet the team of professionals whom they will potentially be doing business with. It is important that customers find an individual or team that meshes well with them, and at Warehouse ’71, we’re proud to be highly rated in customer service. In short, a showroom is a great way for customers to get expert guidance and make informed decisions.

Changes in Our Showroom
We’ve expanded our showroom to enhance the customer experience at Warehouse ’71. Here are some of the new features:
- Decking, outdoor railing, and lumber displays have all been updated.
- Examples of DIY projects that you can create from using product scraps and leftovers will be on display.
- Azek and Versatex trim displays showcasing both the Frontier and Traditional surfaces, as well as samples of various widths to show actual versus nominal measurements.
- New displays will include a 4-foot wall dedicated to LP Smartside and Diamond Kote siding showcasing all colors currently available at Warehouse ’71.
- 8 x 8-foot deck platform on showroom floor showcasing 12 inch on center and 16 inch on center styles of deck installation.
- Hanging slat board on walls to showcase TimberTech and Deckorators deck board colors.
- Fastener station on the sales floor will allow DIY-ers the opportunity to test their skills at using various fastening screws and clips with Warehouse ’71 cordless drills on site.
- For a convenience fee, customers will be able to “book” online to have a 16 x 16-foot deck space covered with a color they are considering to assist in their decision. This is a unique service!
- A new TV in our showroom will feature photos and videos of our customers’ projects, both finished and in the making!
- A wall will be dedicated to “Customer Success Stories,” where our customers can show off their finished projects and talk about their positive experiences with us. The wall will include a large map that pinpoints all the locations we’ve sent orders to!
- Since we are growing on social media, we converted a 10×20 foot closet into a designated space for filming videos for our YouTube channel.
Our Goal
Our goal behind updating our showroom is to get customers thinking more about their outdoor living space by providing a more engaging shopping experience. By working with our team of professionals, seeing, and touching our physical products, and hearing other customers’ success stories in-person all in a refreshed and modern space, we hope that we can inspire you to add some incredible finishing touches to your project, or start a new one.
