Schedule your Pickup Time with Warehouse ’71
During the check-out process, you’ll schedule a date and time when you’ll come pick-up your order at our warehouse located in South Windsor, CT. We’re open Monday-Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm. You can pick-up your order same day or schedule as far as one month in advance. Don’t forget to mark your calendar!
Need Help Picking Up Your Decking or Siding Order?
No problem, you can send your contractor or a friend to pick-up your order for you. During check-out, let us know who will be picking up. Be sure to send whoever is picking up for you a copy of the order confirmation. We’ll use this to confirm your order leaves in the right hands.
Truck Size Needed for Decking & Siding Orders
Your safety and the safety of others is our priority. Many of our products are long, heavy, and cannot be transported by car, SUV or pick-up truck. Use the handy guide below to figure out exactly what vehicle is best for your order.
For products on the list below, one of vehicles listed is required to pick-up your order. If you arrive without one of the required vehicles, we will hold your order until you can arrange the right vehicle. Be sure to pack heavy duty ratchet straps to secure your load!
For many of our customers, renting a box truck is a convenient and inexpensive way to safely transport their orders. We recommend you renting from Budget or Penske. These box trucks have flat floors (do not have wheel wells protruding into the box), which allows our operations team to load your product quickly and without risk of damage.
U-Haul trucks DO NOT have flat floors and may require you to hand load your order. Use the deck length of the truck to assess if your order will fit. Do not use the total truck length as that includes the bulkhead which is not usable storage space.

When You Arrive at Warehouse ’71…
When you arrive, we have specially reserved parking spaces for. If you’re driving a car or pick-up truck (w/o a trailer), park in front of the building in Parking Zone 1.
If you’re driving a truck and trailer or box truck, drive through the gate and park in Parking Zone 2.
Give us a call at 860-528-0495 and a rep will come out to check you in. Have your order confirmation ready on your phone or printed out.
Getting on the Road
The Warehouse ’71 Rep will finish packaging your order and will load the order into your vehicle for you. Now is when those straps come in handy! You, the customer will be responsible for strapping down your product so it stays secure on your drive home. All that’s left is to get home safe and get to work!
